Keith Steele

CEO

Technology entrepreneur and industrial edge computing pioneer with over 35 years’ experience building and scaling successful software companies. As co-founder and CEO of IOTech Systems, Keith has led the company’s growth into a globally recognised provider of edge computing software infrastructure and management solutions, enabling Fortune 500 and industrial customers to deploy secure, scalable real-time systems across manufacturing, energy, transportation, defence and smart infrastructure markets. Under his leadership, IOTech has established a strong international presence built on open technologies and industry standards.Keith began his career with Texas Instruments and has since held CEO roles with a multinational systems integration business, an international R&D company and an oil industry-focused software products company. In support of IOTech’s open strategy, he served as the founding Chair of EdgeX and has been a vocal advocate of open standards, serving on the boards of LF Edge, POSC and the OMG. Keith holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University.

Andrew Foster

Product Director

Andrew Foster has more than 20 years of experience developing IoT and other Distributed Real-time and Embedded (DRE) software products and services. He has held senior management positions in Product Delivery, Product Management and Product Marketing. Andrew has a proven track record of leading teams that have delivered many successful cutting edge open source and commercial technologies. Prior to joining IOTech he was the Product Marketing Manager at PrismTech and lead a team responsible for helping to grow PrismTech’s global market presence. Andrew frequently presents at conferences on subjects relating to distributed computing, middleware, embedded technologies and the IoT. Andrew holds a M.S. in Computer-Based Plant and Process Control and a B. Eng in Digital Systems.

Steve Osselton

Engineering Director

Steve Osselton has 20 years of experience leading high quality middleware product development teams for both commercial and Open Source developments, Steve is a World renowned expert in distributed embedded software technologies.

Brad Corrion

CTO

Brad Corrion is responsible for technology strategy, guiding research and development efforts to drive innovation, and providing technical leadership to product management and software development teams.

Brad is a 26-year veteran of Intel with a rich background in software engineering, solution architecture, and pathfinding, built on expertise spanning manufacturing, embedded device security, IoT, cloud native, and AI at the edge. Recently Corrion was part of Intel’s Health, Education, and Consumer Industries division, where he led a team focused on accelerating the adoption of innovative technologies for these markets.

Duncan Graham

SVP, Operations & Contracts

Duncan is a Contracts Management professional with over 30 years experience in IT commercial contracts management and operations with expertise in operations, contractual, legal, insurance and intellectual property matters relating to software and system integration companies.

Alison MaClean

Head of Global Support Services

Alison is a Customer Support Specialist with 20 years of experience working with a variety of middleware products. With experience in setting up support process and systems, she ensures customers get the world-class support they expect and that SLA’s are met. Prior to joining IOTech Alison worked at Adlink /Prismtech to resolve customer issues and ensure the support systems met their needs. She came into the software world from a background in teaching, working as a Physics teacher for a number of years. Alison has an MSC in Computer Science from Northumbria University and a BSc in Physics and Maths from the University of Newcastle.

Tom Urquhart, PhD.

SVP Global Solutions

Tom is responsible for delivering industrial solutions based on IOTech’s leading Edge computing platforms. In this role, he works closely with IOTech’s global delivery partners and end-user customers. He recently joined the company from PwC, where he was Global Chief Architect. Tom has over 35 years’ IT and industry experience, working worldwide in sectors such as retail, FMCG, manufacturing, oil and gas, telecoms and utilities. He has deep experience in technologies such as middleware, data processing, ERP, integration and the application of these to help solve complex business problems. Tom holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Jack Corrall

Financial Controller

Jack is a qualified chartered accountant with over 10 years of experience in finance across several different industries. Jack has expertise in financial planning and reporting, forecasting, and managing day-to-day financial operations.

James Butcher

Senior Product Manager

James Butcher is a Senior Product Manager at IOTech, where he is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the company’s Edge Central product line. As Chairman of the EdgeX Foundry Technical Steering Committee, he leads the direction of the open-source community while driving innovation in IOTech’s market-leading edge computing solutions. With several years of involvement in EdgeX Foundry, James has previously chaired both the Core Working Group and the Test & QA Group of the project. His strong technical background as a Software Engineer and Solution Architect gives him deep insight into customer challenges and industry needs. James holds a First-Class Master of Engineering Degree in Computer Science from the University of Warwick.

Christopher Timmins brings over 25 years of proven leadership experience in strategic partnerships, business development, and ecosystem management. As Chief Commercial Officer, Chris is responsible for IOTech’s strategic initiatives, partnership development, and solution advancement, driving the company’s growth across industrial automation, renewable energy, and building automation markets. Prior to joining IOTech, Chris served as General Manager of Solutions, Technologies, and Planning at Intel Corporation, where he demonstrated exceptional ecosystem-building capabilities, growing participation from zero to more than 100 companies in 36 months while managing market opportunities exceeding $500 million. His extensive expertise spans emerging technologies, Internet of Things, and open-source platforms, with a proven track record of transforming complex technology initiatives into successful business outcomes. Chris has deep experience collaborating with Fortune 100 companies on strategic technology initiatives and frequently focuses on building partnerships that drive both technological innovation and sustainable business growth.
